Verizon's newsgroup takes lots of time to just follow!

It looks like I'll be switching to Alltel's Greater Freedom plan as
soon as my Suncom contract expires next month but would appreciate

Does anyone know if Alltel will activate a Kyocera 3035 that was used
on Verizon Wireless?  I'm thinking of switching from VZW to Alltel,
and would like to get a new Kyo phone, but would like to bring my old
3035 along for use on a second line.
