The Axcess/MobiTV Simulator
I added Axcess TV, Alltel's branded MobiTV, to my new E815 and after
watching it all weekend, I thought I'd give potential buyers a glimpse of
what it's like to watch TV on a cellphone data link that has unlimited

I've had only prepaid phones, first from an old analog company and now
from Alltel.  I don't live in Alltel's area, so I'm always roaming.
Then again, I live in a major metropolitan area with lots of cell
towers.

I've changed my mind again.  Why does a cellphone that has the same power
output as a V60 toyphone only run 7-8 hours off a huge gelcell and draw so
much power just sitting there?  The damned thing runs dead with very little
warning....halfway through a day of very little onair ...

What lucky bastards we are to be on ALLTEL!  Alltel has committed to
bring us a NEW MONSTERPHONE with a SERIOUS transmitter and antenna!

Come on, guys and gals!  There hasn't been anyone making noises about
Alltel in so long my client was going to unsubscribe a dead newsgroup, this
one!
