30-day risk free trial - Is activation refunded?31 Oct 2003 21:32 GMT7
The 30-day risk free trial doesn't mention anything about the $36
activation fee.  Is it refunded if you return the phone because you
are unhappy with the service?

3300 User Guide?30 Oct 2003 18:24 GMT9
I purchased a Nokia 3300 last night from the AT&T store.   I didn't really
think to look in the box, but when I got home I discovered that the only
user guide was on a CD in a pdf file.  I really don't like this at all.  I'd
much rather have an actual book. I called Nokia and they ...
Some GoPhone questions, please reply!30 Oct 2003 02:57 GMT2
I have a few questions about the at&t "Go phone" , i read on the at&t
wireless website that the actual rates are quit a bit higher than

bank account, is this true? Also i read that the rates are actually in
V60c roaming in south korea & japan29 Oct 2003 23:32 GMT4
I've been using my reliable Motorola V60c on ATTWS locally in the sf bay
area for over a year now, but I am expecting more frequent travel to South
Korea and Japan for extended business periods.
I hear that both countries use CDMA, so shouldn't my V60 work just fine over
41129 Oct 2003 23:13 GMT4
I just tried calling 411, it took them a very long time to answer and when
they did
the man on the other end sounded like Boris Karloff and wasn't very pleasant
at all.

months and the service reps refuse to accept mistake after mistake.  I
have submitted a complaint to the BBB but I would also like to write
the heads of AT&T.  does anyone have the addresses for the pres, vice
3590 -> 3595 Go Phone28 Oct 2003 03:22 GMT4
I have a question:
My wife has the AT&T Go Phone 3590.  If I take the SIM out and put it in
another AT&T GSM phone (such as
the 3595), will it work?  I think it should, but I just want to make sure.
WCDMA27 Oct 2003 23:02 GMT3
How come everytime I hear about WCDMA, its always the flavor that has a max
data rate of 384Kbps, instead of the max 2 megabit per second that the
technology can allow. I realize the data rates will be much less than this,
which is why I asked. A max data rate of 384K probably will ...
NEWS: UK "Mobile call quality is 'poor'"27 Oct 2003 02:44 GMT6
<http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/3210082.stm>
Mobile phone users have a raw deal with call quality, a report says.
A more expensive handset does not guarantee better quality either because
it depends on your network, say voice quality experts Psytechnics.
ATTWS pulls Bait and Switch on MPx200 orders27 Oct 2003 01:03 GMT8
About a hundred of us took advantage of ordering the new Motorola
MPx200 phone when it was on the ATTWS web site for $0 with any plan.
Now ATTWS is suddenly canceling the orders now the phone is shipping.
This would have been fine a month ago, but waiting this long to do it

Can I use my EB-TX310 on Cingular?26 Oct 2003 14:02 GMT2
I am in Connecticut, where Cingular is the "B" side carrier using TDMA
(GSM also available, but not applicable here).  I had a Motorola V60T,
which is now broken.  The Cingular store said, if I brought in an
older Cingular phone (my analog StarTac) they would program it to my
GSM in Los Angeles San Fernando Valley26 Oct 2003 13:59 GMT6
I've been in the ATTWS Northridge store twice recently to inquire about
deals to change my TDMA service to GSM.  Both times the store people

said they get complaints from new customers about GSM coverage.
