Which Way Would You Jump?27 Nov 2003 02:34 GMT28
I'm a generally happy Verizon Wireless customer who's tired of waiting for
Verizon to get off its collective luddite a.s and offer Bluetooth phones that
work with the Hands Free Link in my new Acura TL. So I'm planning to make the
jump to either AT&T or Cingular (or both, depending ...
All of a Sudden - Dropped Calls26 Nov 2003 17:51 GMT2
In the last two days, I have had calls just drop.  Prior to this,
there would be some warning such as degregation of signal.  All of a
suddent, calls are just dropping. The person on the other end hears a
click, I hear nothing. Why is this happening?

which we can look up that information.
WNP Deals!26 Nov 2003 14:32 GMT7
Hmmm...  November 24th is here.
Do I take the 1,000,000 anytime minutes from Cingular for $9.99/month, or
the Free Orlando Vacation Home offer from ATTWS if I sign the 7-day
contract?
AT&T GSM no coverage in areas but wont roam to Cingular?26 Nov 2003 04:17 GMT1
I do a network search outside and see many networks in Springfield MO
such as my AT&T, Cingluar, T-Mobile.  Cingular is listed as blocked.
There are many places where I go that there is no AT&T signal but
there is a Cingular signal (sometimes only Cingular) - per GSM phones
Wireless spam?26 Nov 2003 03:56 GMT4
I think AT&T just sent me some wireless spam. The message popped up on
my screen unexpectedly. The message was from sync.windcaster.com.
I googled Windcaster and found this description:

AT&T Free2Go Wireless Prepaid with GSM phone?25 Nov 2003 23:41 GMT1
Can I use AT&T Free2Go Wireless Prepaid service with a GSM phone, or
does it have to be TDMA?  T-Mobile, mMode, or whatever it is they use
for the GSM phones is available here.  Their Prepaid FAQ doesn't say
one way or the other.
Who is gonna switch?25 Nov 2003 16:58 GMT1
Ok so as of Monday coming you can keep your number and phone providers
expect to see a lot of customers changing service. You'd think after
the recent upgrade problems and poor service across the board that
ATTWS are going to lose a lot of customers.
