I am interested in both the Nokia 6200 and 6800 phones.    Which of

No service at my house; what to do?29 Feb 2004 06:01 GMT21
I've written here before about all my problems with getting a couple
of phones and service online.  And I've said how they arrived after
almost a month's wait.
I also wrote about travail with Customer Service and how, finally, I
No demo phones in ATTWS stores!!??29 Feb 2004 03:58 GMT6
What's up with the ATTWS stores in my area of LA?  One of the stores has
only 1 or 2 phones available for live demo, and the other phones are static
display with decals in their screens.  The other store has zero live phones.
Kinda hard to make a phone choice like that.

I am a current AWS GSM customer.  I have access to a Treo 180.  Does anyone
know if that would be AWS compatable by simply swapping the SIM card?

Motorola V600 Availibility ???28 Feb 2004 14:45 GMT7
Does anyone have any information on the availability of the Motorola V600
GSM phone with AT&T Wireless?  It seems to be a big secret.  It was supposed
to be released on Monday, February 16th but it is still MIA.  Anyone have
any additional info or know when it going to be available?
Siemens S46 2.5 mm adaptor...?27 Feb 2004 13:22 GMT2
Howdy,
I use a Siemens S46 phone. As you may know, it has a proprietary
earphone jack rather than the industry standard 2.5mm type.
I asked around and learned that an adaptor was available. I bought two
BEWARE INPHONIC wireless sales27 Feb 2004 05:01 GMT4
Inphonic has horrible customer service and they send you the wrong
stuff and won't send you the correct items. Check out their Better

GSM Phone to sync with Outlook27 Feb 2004 00:17 GMT2
I  will probably be doing a lot of travel to Europe and Asia this year and
am thinking of moving from TDMA to GSM.
Would be most interested in hearing anyone's experiences of using their
phones overseas, and, also, is there one with a good sync with Outlook so I

Frustrated with ATTWS Data Plans25 Feb 2004 03:15 GMT7
Does anyone out there know if ATTWS will ever offer an all you can eat
GPRS plan? I was on T-Mobile where they had an all you can eat plan
for $29.99 and I can't beleive how much ATTWS is charging for their
plans, which aren't even unlimited.
Question on New ATTWS SonyEricsson T61624 Feb 2004 23:28 GMT2
I just switched from T-Mobile to ATTWS (I live in San Francisco and
T-Mobile's coverage (i.e., Cingular) in my neighborhood, while
purported to be "great" on T-Mobile's coverage maps, was awful).
Anyway, so I just switched from a T-Mobile Sony Ericsson T610 to a
Sprint's Wireless Web vs. ATT Wrls. Internet Access & Mlife24 Feb 2004 18:37 GMT4
I am a Sprint customer for several years and I use the old Wireless Web
features constantly (not Vision) because it enables News checking, e-mail
and IM'ing (not very useful but it has its uses) without having to pay for
the amount transfered.
Renew contract now for a free phone or wait till Cingular takes over?24 Feb 2004 18:36 GMT2
Now that Cingular is taking over AT&T Wireless(unless the gov. says
no), should I wait to renew my AT&T wireless contract (and probably
get a free phone) or wait till Cingular takes over? Does it matter at
this point?
Tri-band phone for AT&T?23 Feb 2004 20:09 GMT3
I have AT&T D1R, and I have heard many horror stories about GSM
service (or lack thereof).
My question is this:
Does At&T have a tri-band phone?  What I'm thinking is if GSM is bad
