I just got a letter from ATT saying to go look at their map and see their
new expanded coverage.  It does mention what additions they've had, and
sorry, even though I am a bit of a geek, I don't have a map in my head of
all prior locations versus all new locations.

Any experience with ATT GSM coverage in North Austin, specifically the
Georgetown area?  I have the TDMA 1-rate and want a national plan, but the

I've noticed that the ESN is not checked when receiving sms mesages, they
will go to two different phones if they have the same phone number
programed. The ESN is only checked on voice calls and sending sms. I don't
expect sms or voice to be secure but this is too easy.
