Vodafone going for BIG BANG ?20 Feb 2004 03:35 GMT28
Today's (Tuesday's) Wall Street Journal reports Vodafone which already
owns 45% of Verizon Wireless may be having second thoughts about buying
the money losing AT&T Wireless, and instead might just buy Verizon so
they'd have 100% of Verizon Wireless. It'd cost a whole lot more, ...

reported a fourth-quarter loss, lost nearly 4 percent of its customers

Customer service phone lines down again17 Feb 2004 16:48 GMT12
Can't get through on 611 - get numerous pre-recorded "our system is

Selling phones on eBay, with or without SIM card??17 Feb 2004 03:07 GMT2
I deleted all numbers from the phone, so should I pull the sim card
out?  Account is closed.  ATT just did not work where I work. Phones
are a Nokia 8390 and a Siemens S46.
Will leaving it in cause me a problem?  It seems buyers want them.
Need help from TDMA phone guru please15 Feb 2004 06:47 GMT9
I want to activate a Cingular branded Nokia 2260 on AT&T. I have gone
into long programming (*3001#12345#) and I have changed the Home
System ID, the SOC, and the MIN. Because the SOC change was accepted,
then this phone is not SOC locked.  Now AT&T has an 800 number to do

This is really getting to me. I called ATT last week regarding my delayed voicemail notifications

ATTWS same company as Verizon?13 Feb 2004 22:08 GMT13
I was told by several salespeople that AT&T wireless
is actually the same company as Verizon?
If that is so, how can it be that AT&T has such a lousy
reputation whereas Verizon is well-liked?
How to check minutes/ customer service from phone13 Feb 2004 20:17 GMT10
On Sprint I would dial *4 for customer service and to check minutes
remaining. I'm on AT&T and have tried 611, *4, 0 and none seem to
work. Do I have to dial the standard AT&T 800 number for this or is
there a shortcut?
