attws charging full month fee on ported number?20 Apr 2004 19:41 GMT7
Attws wants to charge me for a full months fee for a month in which I
canceled my  account 4 days into the month and ported to another

When I asked one rep when they instituted this practice, she said it
Switching between plans.  Anytime?20 Apr 2004 16:54 GMT10
When I joined ATTWS through an independent dealer, I was told the
unique thing about ATTWS was that I could switch between plans (say
National and Local) anytime I wanted.  On the ATTWS website, it even
says that I can change anytime I want.  When I've tried calling in the
ATT allowing connection into Cingular?19 Apr 2004 15:57 GMT26
Today couple of my friends who are ATTWS
customers in SF bay area, reported that now
they are able to connect using Cingular.
They are local to SF Bay area and before
Plan changes - April 1819 Apr 2004 15:54 GMT11
Despite listing that the $9.99 pricing will no longer be good after
April 17, Topday's web site shows $9.99 add-a-line still available.
As predicted Anytime minutes available with a $39.99 plan have decreased
from 600 to 450.
What happened to TDMA plans?19 Apr 2004 14:09 GMT5
From the new website plans and maps it appears that there are only
Local and DOR rates left for TDMA.  Are the National plans gone?
Anyone know if the "old" National plans get same, less, or more coverage?
Here is the scoop on GSM America and roaming19 Apr 2004 13:59 GMT3
Starting Sunday April 18 AT&T is rolling out the new GSM America plan which
will replace the GSM Digital One Rate (TDMA DOR is not affected).  The rates
will be similar to the current group of National plans (which formerly only
included on-network coverage) but ANYWHERE your phone ...
I need a gait or a gsm/tdma phone bad but what one?19 Apr 2004 00:23 GMT11
so far most I have seen are older ones. I don't use a lot of phone features but
I would like good poly ringtones and maybe a color screen. My shop is
underground and I can'g get a reliable gsm signal. I know tdma works as a friend
has a att phone that gets fine reception down there ...

How am I using kbs on my new account?17 Apr 2004 16:42 GMT2
We just signed up for for a shared minutes plan, we didn't sign up for
mMode.  I have been checking our minutes online and it shows that among the
four phones we have used 239 kb for something.  Where is this coming from?
We aren't accessing the internet or IM'ing or sending email.  ...

Should I Pay $105 for the T616 or $25 for the Samsung X426?16 Apr 2004 21:07 GMT10
I have been offered one of those 2 deals.  I like flip phones but it's
kinda a toss up.  The X426 has no features except color screen.
if it had an external caller ID display it would be a bit better.
The T616 is supposedly an all around great phone with great features
