HP5550+Bluetooth+V600+Internet access11 Apr 2004 14:12 GMT1
Does anyone know how to get the dial-up working over GPRS using a HP5550 PDA
and a V600?  I followed all the AT&T's setup instructions.  I got it working
with my Dell laptop using Bluetooth and can access internet via my V600.
I want to do the same with my PDA (HP5550).  I was able ...
ATT Bleeding Customers ( no big surprise!)10 Apr 2004 14:03 GMT23
Anyone else hear how horrible ATT wireless has been performing?  Since
number portability came out, for every 1 person that left Verizon for ATT,
10 people have left ATT for Verizon!  Those are Nationwide numbers!  In New
York, the numbers are 20 to 1 in Verizon's favor.....not a ...
Is 7PM N/W going away with new plans?10 Apr 2004 00:02 GMT3
Anyone heard anything whether 7PM N/W is going away with new plans.
Can someone also post the number of minutes with $39.99, $49.99, or
$59.99.  I want to know whether I need to rush to get in before the
17th or wait.
Dropped Calls Constantly09 Apr 2004 17:29 GMT3
I am in the N. NJ/NYC area.  I use a Nokia 6360 and have been quite
satisfied with my phone and AT&T up to now. More and more, my calls
are being dropped while talking on the phone. It is happening
constantly.  I don't even know the call is dropped as there is no
CallPlus question09 Apr 2004 06:52 GMT4
I've been waiting a week now to activate my CallPlus started kit. They keep
telling that they don't have my area code (610). When I asked for any area
code they said that they don't like to do that because I'd have to pay
extra for every call. Which, from what I understood, is BS ...
Help please: National TDMA coverage in Peoria, IL? 09 Apr 2004 01:55 GMT1
Could someone please confirm whether or not ATTWS TDMA has coverage in
Peoria, IL? Need to travel there soon and am wondering if my phone will
work. I could swear I've been there before and it worked, but I can't
remember for sure and the ATTWS crap coverage map seems to have it ...

Free To Go new plan08 Apr 2004 20:49 GMT16
I noticed that Free To Go has a new flat rate plan.  Charge per minute
reduced to $0,25 for $10, $25 and  the $50 cards, and even less for the $75
and $100 cards.  The cards expire in 90 days instead of the previous 45 days
(1 year for the $100 card).  Unused credit also still rolls ...
V600 Price increased $120 today08 Apr 2004 19:18 GMT7
Everytime I make a decision, they change the price.  I guess they want me to
be more impulsive than I am.
Anyone know if this is a temp increase?  When I got the t616 for my
daughter, the price seemed to bounce daily.
New National Plan 4/18 - No Roaming in Home Area?08 Apr 2004 15:41 GMT6
I heard on HowardForums that there is a new national plan on 4/18 with
no roaming in the Home Area.  Can anyone confirm or deny?
VICTORY!!! I'm not paying the "Monthly Service Charge"07 Apr 2004 23:31 GMT1
Back on 20Feb I postedthat ATTWS charged me when I ported to TMo.
After 1.5 months of phone calls I got to speak with Lea (B2877). I
explained that the additional $17.99(x 2 lines)was not right. As
support for this please see
Where is end-of-contract date?07 Apr 2004 18:45 GMT10
Is there an obvious place (that I'm overlooking) on the bill that says when
your contract is up?  I found the section that threatens you with $200 for
early termination, but no place that says when it's up.
Thanks-
Unlocked Cingular Nokia 6340i07 Apr 2004 10:52 GMT1
I have an unlocked Nokia 6340i.  I have used it with several AT&T
wireless sims(the blue kind), T-mobile, and Cingular and it all works
fine.  However when I put my AT&T white sim card in it from my T62u it
says 'Phone Restricted' as if the phone is locked, which obviously it

Can you get out a contract if you move to an area without signal???07 Apr 2004 05:24 GMT5
I'm planning on inking a 2 year TDMA contract to get the $59.99 plan
with 7 PM N/W.  However, I'm making a move from NJ (where AT&T TDMA is
very strong) to Houston (where in the few times I've visited have felt
that TDMA is strong, but I'm not 100% sure).
