Is there any advantage to getting a GAIT phone and plan (like Multi-Band National) over a regular GSM phone and plan in California? I currently use a TDMA phone with a local plan and don't want to lose coverage in rural areas like western San Mateo County, Big Sur, coastal

For the sake of your privacy, much less possible expense of additional incoming phone calls, I urge you to write to your Senators and Congressmen to support passage of Representative Edward Markey's proposal ("Wireless 411 Privacy Bill")as soon as it is presented for a vote.

| GSM1900 and GSM850 - maps? | 13 May 2004 17:12 GMT | 21 |
Anyone know a third-party coverage map that shows AT&T's GSM1900 and GSM850 coverage (separately)? Should one have a world phone that only features GSM1900 in the U.S., one would like to know where specifically GSM1900 coverage is with AT&T (not GSM850).
