GAIT (GSM/TDMA multi-band) in CA20 May 2004 17:43 GMT3
Is there any advantage to getting a GAIT phone and plan (like
Multi-Band National) over a regular GSM phone and plan in California?
I currently use a TDMA phone with a local plan and don't want to lose
coverage in rural areas like western San Mateo County, Big Sur, coastal
Cingular & AWS19 May 2004 18:46 GMT7
Can anyone tell me if Cingular has started calling any of the shots at AWS
yet regarding policys/proceedures/employees?  I am referring to confirmed
instances, not "it seems as if" type stuff.

Billing error17 May 2004 05:51 GMT6
I have a major billing issue. I bought a phone from an AT&T store and they
renewed by contract for 2 years and I recieved a nice discount on the phone. My
contract was orginally supposed to end in October 2004. I returned my phone and
a few days later I called AT&T and they said my ...
cellular privacy17 May 2004 02:28 GMT2
For the sake of your privacy, much less possible expense of additional
incoming phone calls, I urge you to write to your Senators and Congressmen
to support passage of Representative Edward Markey's proposal ("Wireless
411 Privacy Bill")as soon as it is presented for a vote.

ATT TDMA - No reception !!!14 May 2004 19:19 GMT1
I have two phone lines from ATT - one that is used in CT, and another
in PA. Now, recently, for the past 4-5 months, the phone that is in CT
has been working very poorly. For eg. a. 90% of phone calls do not
come through, b. Lines get disconnected often, etc. I tried working

GSM surprises on SF Peninsula14 May 2004 04:14 GMT7
A while back AT&T "upgraded" my T68i to a T226.  I didn't know at the time
why they'd done this, but very glad they did.  The T226, sometime around the
second week of April, suddenly sprang to life with the most consistent,
strong signals imaginable.  Since this corresponded with ...
Trash Talking/No Apologies13 May 2004 22:33 GMT2
What's the matter, Phil?  Are you this way because you still have a

Massey?  For sure you aren't Dr. Robert M Markoff.  I wonder how the
GSM1900 and GSM850 - maps?13 May 2004 17:12 GMT21
Anyone know a third-party coverage map that shows AT&T's GSM1900 and GSM850
coverage (separately)?  Should one have a world phone that only features
GSM1900 in the U.S., one would like to know where specifically GSM1900
coverage is with AT&T (not GSM850).
