I have a family member that uses an old-school Nokia 5160 TDMA/analog with
an external (car type) antenna which allows them to use the phone at home.
No signal in the house without the antenna.
Kind of guessing at some point they'll need to migrate to GSM, and it's good

Does ATTWS have any phones that are GSM and analog? The GSM works well
enough between the major cities here in AZ but large parts of the state seem
to be analog only.
Nokia 8265: External Antenna Jack is Disabled?24 Aug 2004 02:21 GMT1
I'm trying to connect an external antenna to the jack on the 8265.
However, I'm not getting any signal out of that jack.  I called Nokia
and the tech I spoke with mentioned that he *thought* the jack was not
actually enabled.
Purchasing ATT GSM phone without plan/activation23 Aug 2004 21:00 GMT4
I use the FreeToGo plan and it works out great for me since I'm a very light
user on minutes.
Unfortunately my battery on my Panasonic TDMA phone is blown, so it's time
for a new phone.

I ran over my P800???21 Aug 2004 16:00 GMT1
Well, much to my horror my P800 fell out of my coat while I was getting in
the car and of course I backed over it.  Its pretty well done in.  Screen
smashed, keyboard gone.  I have the complete equipment coverage plan but it
looks like they don't offer the P800 any more.  Do they ...

This is a slightly expanded post of a previous post.
I am looking to buy at least 1 extra phone for my family.  I have one

(TDMA). The 3360 is quite flaky ---missed calls, not being able to make

cared that I didnt get a statement from them, they would just always send an
email saying my bill is ready, I would go to the attws site and all was
well.
