Just got back from Kauai (and a couple days on the Big Island), and found
the GSM coverage to be decent, not great.  Nearly all cities have coverage,
but there are areas between them (out on the road) where you don't get
anything).  It was actually better than I expected though.

Aren't they able to handle the load ?
Are they afraid that  to many customer will sign-up ?
May be they don't care anymore they will be Cingular soon
Who come up with the pricing ?

In the 2 days that it took me to finally decide to take the GSM
plunge,  the Motorola phone offered by ATT changed from the V600 to
the V505.   As much as the salesperson tried to *dance* she could not
give me a decent explanation as to the difference in the two phones.

We just received a call from a young woman named "Jasmine," who identified
herself as an ATTWS employee, with a telephone number of 954-315-1113.  She
called my wife on her cell phone and told her that it was mandatory that she
switch over from TDMA to GSM, as ATTWS was moving all ...
