can I use my old number with free2go?14 Sep 2004 16:44 GMT1
I have a post-pay cell service with AT&T that I want to discontinue and I
want to activate free2go service as a replacement.
Would I be able to carry over my old number to the free2go service?
Data and voice at the same time?14 Sep 2004 05:08 GMT3
I would very much like to get email on my phone like device.  This
will, of course, require the phone like device to be talking data at
reasonable intervals.  On my current phone (LG4400) a data call ties
up the phone.  Is this true on all the PDA devices?  If they are
Cell Phone No Service13 Sep 2004 09:05 GMT9
I work in Hood River, Oregon and live in Mosier,Oregon.   I was tired of having
no service come up all the time so I started trying the different cellular phone
companies.    These were my results:
At&t digital   I had some service at my house in Mosier but generally
LG G4020: silence ringtone without ringing?13 Sep 2004 06:11 GMT3
I just got an LG G4020 with ATT.  Great little phone, with one
unbelievable problem.  I can't find a way to silence the ringtone
without having the phone ring out.  My previous Nokia had "Profiles",
by which I could set the ringtone and vibrate mode to one of several
SMS To Indonesia12 Sep 2004 18:51 GMT2
Can anyone tell me if you've had problems sending or receiving SMS messages
to Indonesia on AT&T ?  How about any delay, maybe?
Thank you.

My France GSM experience11 Sep 2004 16:55 GMT9
. . . was pleasant but expensive.  I bought a prepaid Orange "La Mobicarte"
SIM card for 30 Euros at an electronics store in Lyon and recharged it with
50 more.  I think I got a total of 150 minutes.  Recharging is very easy at
a newspaper stand.  They just gave me a code, which I ...
choosing area code in seattle11 Sep 2004 03:34 GMT5
When activiting a cellphone number, I get to choose one of two area codes in
my area: 425 or 206.
I heard using 206 would allow more people to call me as a local call over
425. Is there a way to confirm this?

Can anyone make payments online with AWS?10 Sep 2004 20:49 GMT3
I can't beleive this crap...it is just one problem after another for
me with AT&T Wireless.  I think they totally take the cake for me and
all time "you suck bad at customer service" award.
AT&T Wireless has been harassing me over the past month because, for
AT&T's GPRS/EDGE service in Alaska?09 Sep 2004 06:58 GMT5
We need a wireless data/internet solution that works in Anchorage.  The coverage
map on AT&T's site is too tiny to clearly see if Anchorage is in their current
GPRS/EDGE coverage area or marked for "future expansion."
Does anyone here know?  If AT&T doesn't offer this type of ...
ATTWS, S46 & Plans08 Sep 2004 09:55 GMT1
I've had a grandfathered TDMA $40 regional TDMA account since signing up
with ATTWS.  Nights are 8P-7A; my "local" area goes from Roanoke, VA up
to northern ME, across at least as far as Seneca Falls, NY.  With the
"re-up" promotions, I have a total of 600 anytime minutes & ...
