ATT Call Forwarding Charges?17 Oct 2004 03:09 GMT12
I recently forwarded my calls for 2 weeks, as ATT said that this was a
feature on my plan. I got the bill, and they charged me 40 cents per
minute!!! Luckily, it only came out to $20 total. This borderlines on
criminal to me. Why say they offer a feature that you actually have to
Boston Area GSM16 Oct 2004 22:25 GMT14
I'm curious to hear other's experiences w/ GSM in the greater
Boston/New England area.  I had Verizon for over three years and then,
on a whim, decided to switch to ATT GSM because I liked the phone
(V600) and I was able to get a corporate discount.  But, sadly, I've

Hi group,
I a current AT&T TDMA customer and I want to get a new phone on the

Double the coverage and improved signal strength?
Well, double no coverage and double no signal is still ZERO!

grocery store when everyone else is walking around talking on their
US/Canada Data Roaming12 Oct 2004 02:29 GMT1
Does anyone know of a Data Plan that allows me unlimited data access
throughout the US and Canada.  Does AT&T have a Canada upgrade option
of any sort to cover it?
Thanks,

My Nokia TDMA 6360 is acting up and I've heard that with the recent overlay GSM
is now finally worth getting for those of us who use there phones away from the
major cities, I-5 corridor. Any one can to verify this or is it still better to
wait longer before switiching?
Is anyone else having trouble with the time server and AT&T?11 Oct 2004 16:56 GMT4
Have my 6200 set to auto update date / time from AT&T , and for some
reason, this week , it has become 12 minutes off.  I have reset it,
and traveled through umpteen towers between Ga and NC, and it is now 2
minutes off.  No big deal, but it used to be absolutely rock solid
I want to send text messaging to my phone from my computer10 Oct 2004 03:47 GMT3
I have a program that allows me to send text messaging to my phone from my

system then insert the number to my cell phone. How do I ...

No. VA suburbs: Cingular or ATTWS?08 Oct 2004 01:44 GMT3
Our Verizon contract expires early next month. Because of the many dead
zones in the Fairfax VA area, including our prime shopping area, we are
going to switch over to either Cingular or AT&T. The details of the AT&T
plan fit our needs a little bit better than Cingular, but ...
avoid gsm attws in oreegon07 Oct 2004 04:05 GMT2
As recently as late August I was on AT&T's GSM network after being on
Tmobile's for almost two years without any problem.  The coverage was
fine, its just that it would start dropping every 2 or 3 words after
being fine for 2 minutes of conversation.  It was a Treo600, I used.
