If I have a GIAT (TDMA&GSM) phone on a National Multi-band Plan and
use it in an area with both GSM and TDMA, which network will it use?
Am I free to override the network? (force GSM or TDMA in a dual
coverage area)

Is it exclusive to ATTWS? Does anyone in here have one? At 99 bucks,
it is probably a scaled down Blackberry. I could'nt even pick up my
e-mail today without a couple of "pop-ups" for OGO jumping out at me.

One reason I've hung onto my old Nokia 5160 on an ATT One Rate plan
for this long is its ability to pull in a signal in fringe areas where
my business often takes me.  Yeah, I know, it's a dinosaur and it's
time to move up.  So which of the new phones can I count on equalling

Oregon I get pretty good coverage except at work in my shop. well that's
underground so I can understand it. but I know verizon and t mobile reach that

I am thinking of moving from T-Mobile to ATT GSM.
Has anyone done this and found the ATT to be better coverage in
the City.
I am not happy with T-Mobile inside a lot of buildings and I am told
