| Audiovox SMT5600: How to have it ring only when charging? | 13 Dec 2004 21:13 GMT | 2 |
The SMT5600 is the fourth different cellphone model I've owned, and I've always set my phone to vibrate. The previous three models were smart enough to realize that when they were plugged into a charger, they were not in my pocket or on my belt, and therefore they automatically ...

| GSM - TDMA Plan | 13 Dec 2004 04:42 GMT | 1 |
The AT&T/Cingular seem to change daily. Here's my situation. I have a One Rate plan (not under contract) that seem to no longer be in their line-up of plans. I no longer need the one rate and I'm thinking that I would like to convert to the Siemens S46 phone because it's the only ...

I upgraded my mpx200 to WM2003. Solved several problems. Caller ID works much better as well as voice dialing, which essentially didn't work at all. I'm on ATT but can't figure out how to establish data connection. Do I have to install mmode from somewhere or does somebody know ...

I was with AT&T a year ago and thought their GSM service in the Bay area and San Diego was good. (I switched to Verizon for other reasons). When my current contract is up, I'm thinking of switching to Cingular, and wanted to know peoples opinion of Cingular service vs. AT&T?

| Cell Reception Questions | 06 Dec 2004 15:19 GMT | 10 |
I live in Oakland Calif, in a valley. I have used AT&T for 4 years and reception at my house has never been good. Even worse in the basement. I have figured the problem is basically with antenna locations and the fact that I live in a moderately deep valley. Towers are 2-3 miles

| Evil Cingular strikes again! | 05 Dec 2004 20:32 GMT | 4 |
Back when orange and blue were different companies, I had a Cingular account. I got it through the local Cingular corporate rep, and I got a corporate discount. Then one day I decided I wanted my wife to have a phone. I called my

I need to add a wireless card (PCMCIA or Cardbus) to my laptop for web/email access while I am traveling for my real estate sales job in the Sacramento area. Anybody know if ATTWS or Cingular would be a better solution? I currently have mmode with ATTWS using my 6620 but I
