| T-MOBILE SIDEKICK IS A RIPOFF-STAY AWAY | 18 Jan 2005 20:28 GMT | 1 |
T-MOBILE E-MAIL NETWORK HAS NO SPAM FILTER This means if you buy this little device and expect to use it for email, you will be terribly dissapointed. You will receive your important e-mails however, they will be hidden

What is the e-mail address for SMS messages to ATT & Cingular users? I need to send an SMS message to ATT phone users from an application. For my sprint users I send it to an e-mail address at Sprint. Thanks

| What will merger mean to us? | 15 Jan 2005 15:32 GMT | 17 |
I have AT&T TDMA. Will Cingular merger add more areas and will it add rollover minutes!! There are some major AT&T TDMA holes - namely in Upstate NY. I'd like to see rollover too. Will GSM be expected to improve??

| CallPlus users: check out new lower rates! | 15 Jan 2005 15:27 GMT | 5 |
Got a message from Pharos International (www.pharosint.com) that their rates for airtime for CallPlus have been significantly lowered. A $40 airtime card now buys time at 15 cpm (vs. the old rate of 23 cpm). Still suspicious of a major shakeup of CallPlus when Cingular takes

| Own phone for free 2 go plan | 15 Jan 2005 15:27 GMT | 7 |
I like the new rates for the att free2go plan and am thinking of buying my own phone for it. (Motorola v60 series) I have never had a cell phone and am new to this cellular world; if I buy a new or used ATT TDMA phone from ebay or elsewhere, will there be problems

| CallPlus is NOW CHARGING FOR ROAMING - 4x the minutes!! | 15 Jan 2005 15:25 GMT | 37 |
I just signed up for CallPlus wireless, mainly due to the fact that it was said to have no roaming charges.. Well, today I went into my first "roam" area -- had recently put over 300 minutes on my account.. When I tried to dial, I was told that there were only 81 minutes remaining!

| ATT Towers in Dallas showing as Cingular | 15 Jan 2005 15:02 GMT | 5 |
I just noticed that the ATT towers in the Dallas Metro are now showing up as Cingular, not Cingular Wireless. I assume they renamed the towers. When I search for other networks (which Cingular phones can't do, btw), I get Cingular, Cingular Wireless, and whatever else is

| Will Cingular Purge ATT WS subscribers? | 15 Jan 2005 13:11 GMT | 19 |
I wonder if ATT WS customers in good standing with ATT are going to have to re qualify with Cingular. ATT generally had less rigorous credit standards than Cingular does. ATT would give you a no deposit account with a FICO score as low as about 580 while Cingular wants a

| Will AT&T let you go back to TDMA after a GSM "Upgrade" | 15 Jan 2005 12:55 GMT | 41 |
My mother just got conned into switching her ancient, but reliable, Nokia TDMA/AMPS phone for a GSM phone. Now she has no coverage, or poor coverage, in several of the locations that she uses her phone the most.

| what's the deal with Suncomm and ATT in N Carolina? | 15 Jan 2005 07:34 GMT | 1 |
I was told that we are being sold off to Suncomm. That it would be announced sometime soon. But have heard NOTHING. I dialed ATT (really Cingular) support and all they couls say is 'it won't affect me'. but i am concerned that national calls would be a problem when i travel ...

| callplus text messaging vs att | 15 Jan 2005 00:14 GMT | 3 |
I just realized that Callplus charges one call unit for every text message. Has this been a recent change? I thought they charged the same as ATT, 10 cents for every outgoing text message.

| Mobile to Mobile | 14 Jan 2005 03:07 GMT | 27 |
Here's something that's strange in my minutes... I have an ATT GSM America National Plan with 1100 minutes (more than I'll ever need, but was a good deal) with 2 phones. I have the North American package. My main phone, which I use exclusively in Florida, is
