Currently have an ATTWS family plan, and the Cingular plans don't come close
to meeting the deal I have. Contract doesn't expire until April 06. I want
to replace one phone, and Cingular rep suggested buying a phone from
somewhere like Ebay and just switching over the sim card and ...

Does anyone know if Cingular is going to continue Free2go as it
currently is; or will we have to switch to their prepaid service at

I have a great plan with ATT. The orignal charter gsm unlimited minutes.$99.
My question is, if I was to switch to cinguler will my call quality be
better? Since we are on the same network I figured it would all be the same.
Then I was told the cingular sim card was more advanced ...

My current GSM phone (Sony T68i) does not support all the GSM bands offered by
AT&T/Cingular. Since I would rather avoid switching plans, is it possible to

Given the choice between a v505 for $79.99 and a v551 for $74.99, which
one would you choose? The video feature of the v551 is not important to
me. I would just like the phone with the best call quality and battery

The latest Consumer Reports rates 24 cell phones and various services in 17
cities.ATT is rated (by users) lowest in all cities in which they are
available except one city, Philly, where it is next to lowest. Cingular is
somewhere in the middle, but not near the top.
