SIM card switch30 May 2005 17:51 GMT8
I used to be with cingular and then switched over to AT&T when my contract
was up. My phone that I got from AT&T is now constantly turning off and
screwing up unexpectedly. Apparently now AT&T and Cingular are together so
would I possibly be able to take the SIM card out of my AT&T ...
Life of the TDMA networks30 May 2005 01:48 GMT8
I have a couple of questions as I contemplate purchase of TDMA phones:
1) Anyone with an informed opinion about the life of the AT&T (now Cingular
Blue) and Cingular (Cingular Orange) networks.  Are towers being deactivated
on a regular basis.  Will it all end in a few months?

cingular 27 May 2005 03:07 GMT1
I just got off the phone with a customer service person, at cingular
and was told that if I paid $18.00 to change from att to cingular.
I would have 30 days to cancel without paying the fee to cancel my
service.

Online access to services, including Online Customer Support, will be found
at www.cingular.com.

What is the what looks like a small "E" with a red and green stripe
underneath it?  It's up on top of the display (as you open up the
phone) on the left, right next to the signal indicator meter?
TIA
Prepaid Cell Phone Services21 May 2005 02:00 GMT3
Any recommendations for Dallas, Texas? I heard some good things about Beyond
Wireless and wonder if BW is still the best choice?
Thanks.
Pre GSM phone needed14 May 2005 16:21 GMT1
I would like to purchase a phone to replace an old Motorola pre GSM service
phone for use on the new cingular/ATT.
I would like it to be a clamshell design. All this phone needs to do is work as
a phone without any other features.
Anyone Ever Heard Of This Error Message?12 May 2005 16:25 GMT4
Several times when I've attempted calling my brother's Cingular (AT&T side)
cell phone I get the recordering "the cellular user you are attempting to
reach is not accepting calls at this time".  My brother has done nothing out
of the ordinary with the phone.  He is in his home area ...
PrePaid in SoCal11 May 2005 06:25 GMT2
I've had an AT&T Free2Go TDMA prepaid for an aging relative for a few
years, buying $10/90 days, most of which was never used.  I do NOT
intend to pay Cingular's new recharge rate and want to change to a
different pre-paid TDMA provider.  I have investigated Beyond Wireless
prepaid retail phone suggestions07 May 2005 14:15 GMT10
With Mother's day coming up,
we are looking at some of the retail phones
& their plans for Grandma, etc :)

KEEP YOUR AT&T SIMS!!!!02 May 2005 03:01 GMT3
There seems to be some confusion about "migration" to Cingular
The "Migration" to Cingular from former ATTWS customers is refering t
former TDMA CUSTOMERS ONLY!!!  Cingular is doing away with the old TDM
system used by AT&T Wireless and converting everyone to GSM.  There i
