I have a couple of questions as I contemplate purchase of TDMA phones: 1) Anyone with an informed opinion about the life of the AT&T (now Cingular Blue) and Cingular (Cingular Orange) networks. Are towers being deactivated on a regular basis. Will it all end in a few months?

I just got off the phone with a customer service person, at cingular and was told that if I paid $18.00 to change from att to cingular. I would have 30 days to cancel without paying the fee to cancel my service.

| PrePaid in SoCal | 11 May 2005 06:25 GMT | 2 |
I've had an AT&T Free2Go TDMA prepaid for an aging relative for a few years, buying $10/90 days, most of which was never used. I do NOT intend to pay Cingular's new recharge rate and want to change to a different pre-paid TDMA provider. I have investigated Beyond Wireless
