Alright, I admit it. When the iPhone debuted, I was intrigued. I thought I
might want one. Do I understand correctly that it does not use a SIM card
like other GSM phones? Everyone else I know is on Verizons network and
they're constantly nagging me to switch for the free calls ...

I'm a longtime Cingular (now att) customer eligible to upgrade my 8125 to a new phone.  When I look at the list of phones
eligible for me to upgrade to the iphone isn't included.  any idea why not?

A friend of mine is being forced into the AT&T TDMA switch, but he wants

So far, he has found a service that would charge a monthly fee to his
