of FIVE stores in Houston, Texas; 8 Gig models sold out in San
Antonio, Texas = better availability in some Dallas area stores

FruitFones ATT had at the North Charleston main store when it opened at 8
this morning.  I counted them as I arrived to photograph them.

Word is going around that the iPhone 3G has a Trusted Computing chip to
detect tampering and thus disabling jailbreaking and SIM unlocking.  All
reported 2.0 unlocks are on iPhone 2G and iPod Touch.
It will be interesting to see if the jailbreak community gets around this

Today, Apple released the new iphone, and being in NY I heard interviews
with some of those "fans" that had been waiting on line for days. I think I

It seems like Apple is getting creative in their error messages. Now,
they're blaming the problem on my Internet connection settings and (DRUM
ROLL PLEASE) my SSL settings!!!
