Word is going around that the iPhone 3G has a Trusted Computing chip to
detect tampering and thus disabling jailbreaking and SIM unlocking.  All
reported 2.0 unlocks are on iPhone 2G and iPod Touch.
It will be interesting to see if the jailbreak community gets around this

Today, Apple released the new iphone, and being in NY I heard interviews
with some of those "fans" that had been waiting on line for days. I think I
understand now, why Apple doesn't have a larger slice of the cell phone

MobileMe's push mail is now active and running. Gizmodo's Jesus Diaz has

AT&T SNAFU for 3G iPhone
It took me forty minutes to activate an iPhone at AT&T here in GA and
I was the first to actually get one from stock at my location.
As seen by a quick search this news is repeated all across the country

Updated a friends iPhone this am.
It seems like Apple is getting creative in their error messages. Now,
