Word is going around that the iPhone 3G has a Trusted Computing chip to detect tampering and thus disabling jailbreaking and SIM unlocking. All reported 2.0 unlocks are on iPhone 2G and iPod Touch. It will be interesting to see if the jailbreak community gets around this

Update iTunes to 7.7 and check it out... 552 applications. Of those, 417 are paid apps, and 135 are free. Of those that are paid, the most common prices were $0.99 for 85 apps, $9.99 for 82 apps, and $4.99 for 62 apps. They've compiled a bar graph

MobileMe's push mail is now active and running. Gizmodo's Jesus Diaz has the service working with his iPhone running the iPhone 2.0 software, and is running perfectly. He is now able to get email pushed to his iPhone in real time, both over Wi-Fi and the cell network.
