Anyone in the know what mobile phones have Japanese language support in the Oz market (for email/phone menus)? I would use my superb Japanese phone here but you know, COMPATABILITY issues Mr telco/manufacture.

Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of any of the newer CDMA phones and know whether or not you can use them with a patch lead and external antenna. For the record, by external antenna, I'm referring to an antenna mounted externally onto a vehicle, not a pull out antenna

Last time I got a phone, Telstra were awful - offering only a small amount towards a new phone. Optus seemed very good in comparision. I see 3 are good, but there is a restricted choide of phones. So who is best in reducing the price of your new phone when you sign up with them?
