I see iSim from optus has released a call rate = AAPT prepaid with even
cheaper SMS (about time too, 25c is daylight robbery) & Vodafone are
advertising the new call cap plans (but no details yet)... HT3 have had call
caps for ages and just as they are (again) trying to move away ...

On a Telstra mobile phone, if I dial 000, and there is only Vodaphone
coverage, will the phone connect to 000 ?

I just wanted anyone's opinion on whether the Sharp GX32 is compatible fully
with Telstra's GSM network ?
(For those that didn't know the Sharp GX32 is the Sharp GX30 without the
Vodafone stuff on it)

I've just joined Vodafone.  After having the necessary settings sent to my
phone for GPRS/WAP access, I've noticed that accessing any Vodafone Live
content is excruciatingly slow.

Saw in an LA newspaper AT&T advertising double their previous GSM coverage
throughout the USA - in small print "you need a GSM 'phone on 850 whatever
they are called frequency for the best results from this service".
I notice a few quad band 'phones now on the market;  I suppose ...

Has anybody tried synchronising their Bluetooth phone in a BMW? Does it
function properly?
