Well, I rang up and got this activated today, you can't activate/de-activate
it from your handset.
Same with call diverts, you have to call customer service to have this
turned on/off !

I have a Nokia 6230 on Virgin and i'm trying to get GPRS working.
Nokia kindly had a preset "virgin WAP" profile setup for me, so I
attempted that first, with no success.  All I get is a message that
says "GPRS connection not available"

that I had to enter my surname into the surname field, when I had definitely
done that.

Once again, Optus are lagging behind in posting the monthly updates.  Has

Mate of mine brought a new 6230 handset part of a 2 year contract with
Optus.
Phone failed (freezes up most of the time) one week into the Contract. He
took the handset back and they wouldn't swap it for him but offered to send

I got three and the system shut down on my 4th and last attempt saying my
card had expired,  which it hasn't, looks like the 1 only offer is now
enforced.
Who got the most cards??

Have a Nokia 6385 (CDMA) that I bought in Feb from a Telstra shop.  Works
well, aside from this one niggly problem.
Every so often, it turns itself off.  Seems to do it more in the car kit,but
