Quick Prepay question24 Mar 2005 04:36 GMT19
I'm going to be in Melbourne for 2 weeks with an unlocked GSM
900/1800/1900 phone.  Rather than pay hefty surcharges on incoming and
outgoing calls, and asking people to make internation calls to me, I
thought I might pick a local sim.  I don't expect to be making a lot of
CDMA resellers to get outbound roaming?24 Mar 2005 02:40 GMT4
It seems Telstra will be giving resellers of its CDMA network the
ability to also resell its CDMA outbound roaming within the next few
weeks. Anyone got anything official on this?

Free mobile when churning home phone to Telstra23 Mar 2005 09:53 GMT6
Looks like Telstra's giving away Motorola C131 (CDMA) handsets to people
churning their full PSTN service from a competitor to Telstra.
The 'gift' includes a Pre-Paid Plus CDMA starter kit with $10 calls, and is
eligible for the double-recharge offer
Telstra money grab?22 Mar 2005 20:04 GMT27
When I activated my Telstra pre-paid it would ring five times and then
divert to message bank.  My g/friend told me that I could ring Telstra
and get it changed. OK - did that - fixed it, got eleven rings.
When I changed to pre-paid plus it reverted to five rings. Bastards.
Problem with Nokia 623022 Mar 2005 10:25 GMT8
I got a problem like this, there is no ring sound, the keypad (beep) sound
is still ok, it can vibrate, but there's no ringtone sound at all.
Anyone else got the same problem? Is there something that I can do to fix
this?

NEC  N900  Anyone out there have one?21 Mar 2005 11:41 GMT1
BTW it's a really cool phone too. All metal case, looks sealed
with no way to open it. Phone has built in battery and can be
used either on it's own or in a special cradle with another
battery built in.
