Dunno if this has been addressed before, i am newbie.
From time to time i notice an icon on my nokia 6250, top left hand
corner, which resembles an unlocked padlock. Not entirely sure if it is
only there briefly on power up, or sometimes when a call / message is

Interesting article on ABC news.
They're experimenting with mobile phones actually relaying signals for
other phones, in areas where tower coverage is sparse. Sounds
interesting.

Can someone explain how the new walkie talkie feature works on the
mobile network were you can press a button on your phone to talk to
someone in close proximity.Due to them saying the call is free is this
because you are talking through the same cell tower (basically it is

i just found out that you can't do MMS on floptus CDMA accounts. However,
they'll happily sell you a CDMA camera phone!
why they don't do MMS, i'm f.cked if i know, as telstra do it on CDMA and
it's the same network.
