i recently got a nokia 6225 and for a while i couldn't send SMS messages -
getting "message not sent" every time i tried.
i phoned optus faults and they couldn't help - they only had information
on the 6220, not the 6225! they told me to call nokia.

I have tried to unlock my new Nokia 3120 prepaid from Virgin mobile
Australia (Optus network) with Code calculate from Cyper  GSM V2.7
I tried code 7 and 1. I got a code error both times. I am worried if I try
more times and get errors it will stop me from unlocking the network.

The panel on the box says 340 hours standby time
and 3 hours talk time.
You're lucky if you get 100 hours out if it on standby
though the talk time is pretty close to what they quote.
