Anybody have any insight into the termination rates carriers charge each other for mobile calls across networks? What is it for PSTN to Mobile? (At least 22cents I would assume). Does the landline to Mobile charge have to do with each mobile carrier it

I'm looking to update my handsets. Currently I use a Nokia 8210 for one SIM and an 8250 for the other. I use them because they're small, fairly tough, and have more than enough features for basic 'no-frills' use as personal communications devices.

Howcome they are popular in the US and UK yet they've not made an appearance here? The US has had them for the last 3 years or so and the UK too but I've never heard of anyone trying to market them here

I noticed that in the Retravison catalogue in today's Sunday Mail, they had the Motorola A840. This is a dual band CDMA and dual band GSM phone. Does anyone know much about these phones? Are they a primarily a GSM phone which roams onto CDMA or vice versa?
