With all the who-ha about Telstra's Credit Card Payment Processing Fee
(PPF),
I notice Optus have been charging for all bill payments at all Australia
Post outlets from 1 July 2005.

GSM in Japan?22 Aug 2005 05:00 GMT12
I have been to Tokyo many times and have never been able to use my
6230. Yet I found this gem on the Telstra web site:
http://www.telstra.com.au/mobile/products/overseas/countryinfo.cfm?countryid=325
&CFID=2801461&CFTOKEN=72860630

Where is Siemens?21 Aug 2005 16:35 GMT5
I understand that Siemens is no longer in the business of mobile
phones. Is this correct? I need a new battery for my Siemens A55,
since, after about two years, I have to put it on the charger nearly
every day.
TIO Jurisdiction21 Aug 2005 04:54 GMT1
Back in December, Mr McKenzie and I bought a couple of LG U8110's from 3 on
pre-pay from a re-seller.
At the time, I made a point of asking what the deal was to get the handset
unlocked if we decided that 3 wasn't for us.  We were told clearly that an
K750i any good?21 Aug 2005 00:49 GMT3
Anyone out there with a SonyEricsson K750i who have also had a T68, T610
or T630? How does it rate, comparatively?
I got the T68 because it was the only phone at the time with a colour
screen, Bluetooth and GPRS. It was only a marginal phone though
Any good Telstra plans coming up?20 Aug 2005 13:44 GMT23
I came out of a 24 month contract with Telstra last month and got a
call a few days ago from them suggesting I change to a new plan.
I only use around $30 of calls and SMSs a month. A lot of that is on
weekends.
Nokia 6230i problem19 Aug 2005 16:53 GMT1
I have a problem with the ring volume on all my ring tones, it's in the
profile menu, even if you set the Incoming Call Alert to "Ringing" it stays
at "Ascending", very annoying as I work in a noisy environment, any
suggestions, could it be a software upgrade needed?
Would i be able to get a SE K750i on a $55 plan?18 Aug 2005 14:12 GMT5
That's my current plan which expires in a month with Optus.
Is the k750i too good a phone to be included in a 24mth plan renewal for
the same $55 p/mth?
If Optus dont do it maybe another provider will?

I have rang and emailed Orange, but they seem less than willing to help.
All suggestions VERY welcome(within reason) lol
Motorola V3 and Software Tools17 Aug 2005 12:19 GMT1
Anyone here use the software tools that come with the Motorola V3 RAZR?
What do you think of them?
I think the software is next to useless.  It is as buggy as it gets and it
reminds me of the old Motorola TrueSync software that came with my L series

New Optus website14 Aug 2005 10:09 GMT10
To those reporting problems with the Optus website last month - you
might want to give it a go now.  It's been redesigned in the new
'simple' marketing motif.
