| New 5c credit to TPP+ for *receiving* a call | 11 Aug 2005 17:48 GMT | 15 |
Yes.. wacky news indeed. Telstra will credit your prepaid account with 5c for every call you receive, from any network. This means if you receive 3 calls a day, you will *earn* $18 of credit in that month for nothing!

| opinions on Nokia 6610? | 11 Aug 2005 12:48 GMT | 3 |
What do you think about the Nokia 6610 handset? I'm getting one today (unwanted from a friend who's ended up with two), and know very little about it apart from all the stuff on Nokia's site (and I noticed Optarse lists the 6610 on it's site too).

| Nokia 6310i stock at Strathfield | 11 Aug 2005 12:48 GMT | 13 |
If there's anyone still chasing Nokia 6310i handsets (all you yuppy Merc owners with outdated car kits!), Strathfield has stock for some reason. Not sure if there's still demand out there, as I can't see them moving

| Data Speed on CDMA | 11 Aug 2005 12:48 GMT | 3 |
What's the maximum data speed on 1X CDMA? I just wondered whether technically, it would be a good alternative to ISDN in areas which can't get ADSL. I know the cost would be prohibitively expensive.

| Comment on Optus website (ugh!) | 11 Aug 2005 12:38 GMT | 115 |
Using the newest Firefox browser, I find that the Optus website (www.optus.com.au) is broken on many pages. I get pages with missing graphics (refreshing the page does not help), I get "wizards" that ask you if you want a business or personal plan, but send you to a business

| Why Don't People Want Cheap Credit? | 09 Aug 2005 15:26 GMT | 37 |
Hey, Im a new member so let me just make it very clear that I am NOT trying to advertise anything here. I have two phones.(both prepaid) I use them to communicate with my parents who live in another state. Telstra's 1c after 9pm offer comes in pretty handy, and so does Optus's

Finally getting to the end of my Virgin prepaid packs (phew!). I think I remember the last deal I heard of on RevTel was free connection(?) and $30 credit with the FREE30 code. But looking on the web site, it appears the minimum is a $20 start up
