I am looking at a cap plan for my mobile. Currently using Optus Prepaid (about $50-$60 a month, use mainly text and calls to other mobiles). Is there any that you can suggest that would be suitable (seen $49 and $79 caps, $49 more within my budget).

I'm sorry if this seems too obvious to a lot of you or if it has been answered before - but my mother is with Virgin Prepaid and needs a new phone. She only needs something very basic so I am looking at the 3315s that are still selling on Optus Prepaid for $49.

Just been looking Telstras new silly ripoff 3G plans out of curiosty. I have noticed this I-Mode guff doesn't work on all 3G or 2.5G GPRS handsets? Why not, what expactly is "non-standard" about the way I-mode works. Seems destined the fail if it doesn't work accross

In the market for a mid-range (ie free on Vodafone $50 plan) clam-shell phone. Like the look of the Samsungs and Motorolas, but don't know what models are cutting it at the moment. Any recommendations?
