Is there any technical reason why I can't dial a 1-902 premium number from a pre-paid Vodafone mobile? The phone just drops the call if I try.

Three have recently relaxed the restrictions on living and working in a three broadband area to buy from them. I'm considering them for my mum, but I'd like to "try before I buy" as I don't want to sign up to a contract and find that the service is quite poor.
