Now that Telstra will phase out their CDMA service, I bet you any money
that will mean that Orange will ALSO phase out their CDMA services.
Orange phones have their own mobile towers only in Sydney, Newcastle,

Has Telstra said the big plan includes migrating all mobile users onto
their 3G network, or just the CDMA users?
i.e. are they planning on closing their GSM network?
If so, won't many people on Telstra GSM migrate onto other GSM networks

If Orange [fair] where smart they would buy Telstras network/towers of
CDMA and have it all to itself

My step father recently passed away in an auto accident, we can't find
the phone and Telstra is wanting to charge us $1000 for breach of
