I have started to get Service Messages on my 3 phone. I thought a Service Message could only be sent by the network provider, but they obviously aren't. Today's message says it comes from Victoria: Hi there! :-)

I have recently moved from Vodafone to 3 with my Nokia N70. The 3 sim card works fine and I can make voice calls and send sms. Unfortunately I cannot send MMS, access Planet 3 or surf the net as I do not have the 3 settings.

Cannot find software to log duration of each connection made via bluetooth for GPRS connection. I do NOT need to log GPRS data. There are several apps** that do that. I need DURATION of each GPRS connection.

So far two premium SMS companies have offered a refund via cheque. Is it done this way because it's technically impossible to push a refund through the carrier billing system, or is it so they don't have to disclose to the carrier that they're actioning a refund?
