Hi I've acquired a new handset to replace my very aged Nokia 8210. The new
phone supports MMS, etc. but when I tried to send one (containing a pic
taken with the phone's camera) it queued the message for sending then gave
me a 'check multimedia settings' error.

As per the subject heading... can anyone recommend a low cost mobile plan
with a telco that uses the Optus network?
This is for a young bloke, looking at a plan around $15-$30 p/m.
Bundling with a landline is also a possibility if the deal is worthwhile.

I have heard that there is someone placing calls to mobiles at all
hours.  If you answer then nothing happens.  But if you do not answer
and then use the call back feature, you get wacked with a bill of $20.

A friend has resurrected his old Nokia 5110 as a backup phone and has purchased a new Li-ion battery
for it from Dick Smith. The old batteries were NiMH.  Will his old charger do for the Li-ion battery
or should he buy a new charger?

I have a nokia bluetooth headset model HS-3W that i no longer need. the
headset is only about 4 weeks old, and surplus to my requirements. this
headet is perfict for the nokia user, as it requires a nokia phone

My daughter wants a pink Motorola V3 for her birthday in a week or so.
However, I vaguely recall reading quite a few negative comments about

When i try and attach a display image to a contact in the address book it
sometimes comes up with the message "Unable to attach image".
This only happens on some contacts.  The images are .jpg.
