Is anyone able to access non-standard (other than 80, 21, 110, etc) ports over
telstra's GPRS?
I'm having problems trying to access port 6667 over GPRS.

To save an expenisve and time consuming runaround i recommend any consumer
who buys NEW on EBAY a mobile or bluetooth headset etc to ring the
manufacturer first and ask if it REALLY is covered by warranty.

I'm new to Vodafone Prepay (the 'Red SIM').
I bought a $2 SIM at Big W and a recharge voucher.  I've set up the account
using Voda's web portal but I haven't charged up yet.

Just received the following SMS:
"Congrats!! U get semi-daily pics 5AUD. Support: 1300767306 (mon-fr,
10am-5pm). 2 unsub SMS STOP 2 19900119"
If I go into message details, then the number is listed is: 19900119.

Looks like these are ending very soon (31st May), anyone know or heard

Does anyone know if Optus still have this feature, otherwise known as
YesInfo Update, it's on my mobile but doesn't work? I know Telstra have a
similar feature which works. Any info welcome as there is nothing on the

Telstra is changing certain messages I send through them.
The default character set for SMSs is 7-bit.  This allows 128
possible characters.
