Telstra has felt compelled to take out advertisements to bring the G9's
nasty little secret to the attention of the Australian public: that G9 gives
Optus mobilemail14 Jun 2007 07:47 GMT2
So, for years when away from home, I've happily checked my home email
using Mobilemail over GPRS WAP, linked from the Optus Zoo WAPsite on
my phone browser. You just pay for your WAP use.
I tried doing it last weekend - no go. Error message says I have to

Dialogue about Jesus Christ13 Jun 2007 22:19 GMT7
Jesus defeated death not for him but for all of us. In order to open
to all us the door towards a happy eternity. He defeated death to let
us win that "useless passion" that is the short life on earth, opening
prospectives of infinite when every way seemed closed by the black
Sol Trujillo's words of wisdom12 Jun 2007 17:31 GMT64
I recall Sol Trujillo addressing Telstra staff when he moved here; "You
either catch the vision, or catch the bus"...
What an absolute w.nk from a lunatic who obviously has no idea about running
an effective telco operation.
Nokia N95 GPS maps are sh.t!12 Jun 2007 00:25 GMT16
Well, I thought this was the phone to end all phones, but after having a
good play with one at a friends place last night and realising that most
streets are missing from the bloody map (!) .....poor effort.
I hope you can install/upgrade the maps to proper, working ones. The ...

Annoying Sony Ericsson W850I problem08 Jun 2007 05:21 GMT1
This 2 month old phone is being annoying. I am running the latest
update but it randomly freezes when downloading pictures from the
Internet, and when transferring files to another phone via Bluetooth.
It has a 1GB Pro Duo card, but this problem does not happen if any of
My Experiences with NextG (Cont'd)07 Jun 2007 03:31 GMT2
Just got back from a week up in FNQ, Port Douglas and Cairns to be
exact.
While NextG coverage was generally pretty good, as was GSM, I could not
send any SMSes or MMSes without experiencing errors.
G9 lodges broadband plan with ACCC06 Jun 2007 22:36 GMT24
Telstra couldn't give a f.ck about broadband (cares about growing its
fraudband market though), but others do, and they're at least trying to
do something about it.

Question About using a TU-500 as a modem05 Jun 2007 08:10 GMT8
Folks,
I have an LG TU-500 mobile phone on NextG. I pay for a 'data pak' each
month, and I can use this handset to browse the net, check email, etc.
However, I wonderd if this allows me to the phone as a modem for my

unlocking a nokia 668001 Jun 2007 07:01 GMT47
Heya,
A mate of mine bought a new nokia 6680, only to discover that it's locked to
the 3 network.  He's tried several stores, but they say that they don't have
the correct cables or software.  Does anyone know if this can be done?
