1. Is Telstra likely to reverse its decision to close down CDMA? No. The Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy confirmed that Telstra could close the CDMA network on midnight, 28 April, 2008.

I had an unused CDMA prepaid service which got cut off with the closure on Monday. Do you think if I wait, Telstra will throw a last minute offer to retain the service (eg freebie ZTE handset)? Or should I try porting the number to Optus with their offer for ex-Telstra CDMA ...
