After a very good explantion from Maricio Freitas, I succeded in making a
LAN connection between my iPaq3870 and my desktop, using a bluetooth (Acer
BT500).
Unfortinately, I can't use any application that uses the internet :

I've just been given said headset and set it up ok with my phone, but my
belkin b/tooth dongle is unable to detect it. the manual is about as helpful
as a swiss army knife minus it's attatchments!! any help appreciated.

Does anybody know how to connect the iPaq3870 to a local network ?
I installed the software for the Acer BT500 bluetooth dongle and used the
v1.3.2.7 drivers.

Bought a Belkin BT dongle which I now find out it doesn't support 'headset
profile'. Before I spend my money on another dongle, which one will work
