i was able to pair my palm and v551. The palm sent a pic to the phone using
the send feature of my Palm Zire 72 camera software,  but at the end the
file was
to large for the phone to open. For other files like audio its not as easy

Has anyone seen any 'bluetooth enabled' landline phones, that can be used

Are there compatibility problems between Bluetooth dongles using Widcomm
driver and others using IVT driver? What are the differences between the two
and is there a "preferred one"? Widcomm drivers support HID and can be used
with all PCs, MAC and GSM, how about IVT?

I read that BT v2 had been agreed afew months back, and the good news is
that accepts multiple connections. I would like to see this soon because I
would like my mobile to be able to connect to the car kit as well as the gps
reciever, or the handsfree as well as my pc.

I just received a Bluetooth dongle for my laptop computer running xp
home W/SP2 and was trying to use the widcomm software to configure it.
I cannot however, once I install the software, open "my Bluetooth
places" from my desktop or my computer.  I have tried to use the

I have an InstantPAN BTU01A bluetooth dongle.  I had Widcomm 1.3.2.7 (I
think) installed... then I tried applying a bunch of updates to
Windows.  After that, it didn't work anymore.  Wouldn't connect.
I uninstalled the drivers... and now I need the drivers again because I

Does one still need to install widcomm software on a pc or does XP
automatically recognize a bluetooth dongle when it is for the first time
connected to a usb port?
