i was able to pair my palm and v551. The palm sent a pic to the phone using the send feature of my Palm Zire 72 camera software, but at the end the file was to large for the phone to open. For other files like audio its not as easy

Are there compatibility problems between Bluetooth dongles using Widcomm driver and others using IVT driver? What are the differences between the two and is there a "preferred one"? Widcomm drivers support HID and can be used with all PCs, MAC and GSM, how about IVT?

I'm trying to place a voice call using a GSM mobile phone (Philips Fisio 825). Therefore I'm sending ATDT <number>; and the call gets initiated as expected.

Has anyone with the D-Link adapter had success with upgrading the drivers to new 1.4.2.10 release. I downloaded the files from the support support site for my hardware revision (1.4.2.10a) which requires the Widcomm security code.

I read that BT v2 had been agreed afew months back, and the good news is that accepts multiple connections. I would like to see this soon because I would like my mobile to be able to connect to the car kit as well as the gps reciever, or the handsfree as well as my pc.

Is there any change in the handling of XP service pack 2 towards bluetooth? Does one still need to install widcomm software on a pc or does XP automatically recognize a bluetooth dongle when it is for the first time connected to a usb port?
