Just picked up the Sony-Ericsson T-610.
In the box is a little clear plastic sleeve/wrapper which contains a little
metal button attached to some black plastic. On the outside of the clear
plastic sleeve/wrapper there is a label that says:
Why can't this carrier get its network built out?31 Jul 2003 03:16 GMT4
Instead of worrying about a consistent network ID, how about getting the
network built out to a critical mass?  Why is it taking so long to get the
roaming in place with ATTW?  Pretty soon Cingular and ATTW will have a
larger, more robust network than T-Mobile.  All the features, ...

Just curious as to what T-Mobile's coverage is like in sin city.  Anybody?
Coverage from Naples FL to Mpls30 Jul 2003 20:14 GMT1
I drove from Naples to Mpls a couple of days ago.  The only significant
areas where I didn't have coverage were:
1.  Along US 41 from Clarksville TN to I-74 near Danville, IL.  There was
coverage in some of the towns along the route (Terre-Haute, and Evansville,
sim cards30 Jul 2003 07:43 GMT4
SIM cards don't affect reception on a phone do they?  I know someone who
was told that if they bought a new SIM card, it would have new hardware
that would help the phone pick up better reception.  True?  Not true?
Anyone?

This is a longshot but perhaps someone here has had the same problems.
I have an application that works fine on other GPRS networks, but on
t-mobile no
packets are ever received by the device.

Service: Philadelphia to State College/Harrisburg Area PA30 Jul 2003 04:44 GMT2
I travel between Philly and the State College/Harrisburg area VIA the
PA turnpike quite frequently. I'm with verizon now for voice, but
T-Mobile's Unlimited Internet plan is only 29.99, an offer I can't
refuse.
Nokia 3595 available30 Jul 2003 04:11 GMT7
Looks like T-Mobile now has the 3595 listed as an available phone on
their website (though, it would seem, not on the front page... have to
hunt through to the phones section to find it).
Anyone got one from them yet? Any reports on what they've done to cripple
Cell tower locations... why is this classified information?29 Jul 2003 16:08 GMT5
I went to a local t-mobile store and they said they cannot tell me the
locations of the towers in my area.  They keep telling me about the
coverage map.   I already know about that I said.  My problem is that
AT&T who is who I have now as a carrier sucks in certain areas of

S105 oversea's27 Jul 2003 09:56 GMT3
I have an S105 from T-Mobile.  I've had it for over 6 months, and I have had
T-Mobile provide me with the unlock codes, etc.  So, supposedly it should
have worked.  One of my friends was going to India and asked if he could use
it there, so I let him.  When he went there though, he ...
