T-Mobile for GPRS Data?  Forget It!22 Aug 2003 04:00 GMT17
Data access has been totally unreliable for the past 2 months.  I've been with them a total of 9 months now.
Past 30 days has been horrific!  Even total outages.  Using T-Zones for email? .... better not be mission critical.
This is in the Minneapolis area.  My guess is others are ...

desktop app for making ringtones from CDs21 Aug 2003 05:23 GMT3
Has anyone tried the ringtone making app from myphonefiles.com with Nokia
3650 phones? You should be able to take a regular CD, pick any part of a
song and turn it into a ringtone. It should also work with MP3, WAV, and
OGG files, and be able to record human voice through ...
New contract - When should I cancel the old one??21 Aug 2003 03:20 GMT4
I have a 1-year T-mobile contract that should expire in a couple of
weeks. I need a new phone. I understand that if I cancel my service at
the end of the contract, I won't be able to get a new line with
T-Mobile for 90 days as a "new" customer.
Two colors for 6610?20 Aug 2003 15:13 GMT1
I notice that the pictures of the Nokia 6610 are not the same on the
T-Mobile web page as they are on Amazon.com, but both pictures show the
phone branded T-Mobile.

Blackberry 7230 report20 Aug 2003 00:39 GMT2
Got mine today through National business. It looks, physically, exactly the
same as a 6210. The main differences, for those that don't already know, is
a color screen (65k TFT, 240x160) and GSM 900/1800/1900 vs 900/1900 for the
6210 and 6710.
ATTWS roaming19 Aug 2003 16:58 GMT1
An ATT customer support rep told me that ATT pulled out of all roaming
agreements with T-Mobile.  If that is correct, that has to be one of the
shortest lived roaming agreements around.

T-Mobile G100 vs. AirCard 75019 Aug 2003 02:28 GMT5
Good there is someone that knows more about tmobiles policy then tmobile.
From what you state t-mobile data level 2 does not know what their doing.
Interesting if t-mobile supports cards they did not supply
There must be a reason why you paid $20 for your card?
Network reads "VStream"??19 Aug 2003 02:02 GMT3
I'm just curious, I've been a T-Mobile customer since January 2001 when they
were still Voice Stream.
On my phone, the network selection is always VStream.  Even when I do a
manual search for networks, VStream is the only one available to select.
Ericsson T610 vs. Nokia 365017 Aug 2003 21:51 GMT1
Does anyone have details on RF performance differences between these
two phones? The area I'm in has somewhat weak coverage (north shore of
Long Island). My current phone is a T39m (unlocked) and I find it
frequently will drop connections or switch to another network. In

CSD WAP working, can I log onto wap.mytmobile.com?15 Aug 2003 13:30 GMT1
Hey all,
I've got a Moto P280 with an unlocked browser and WAP settings menu.
I'm not a T-zones customer anymore, but I am able to access WAP via
CSD with no trouble.  I've browsed countless sites, so it's clear CSD
Flash files for Motorola P28015 Aug 2003 01:44 GMT1
Hey all,
I've been looking for flash files for the Moto P280, in order to
eliminate both the IR comm problem and the crashing/phonebook erasure
bug.  My firmware is older, from the Voicestream days.
NYC power failure: How's WPS working?15 Aug 2003 00:44 GMT1
I wonder how WPS (Wireless Priority Service) is holding up during the
current power failure in the Northeast?

For the past few weeks I've had increasing numbers of times in whic my
phone with an Original Omnipoint SIM lost connectivity and required me to
manually search networks to get back online.
Anyway, it just struck me that I'm no longer seing OmniPoint on my
