Will T-Mobile let you pick your own phone number?23 Oct 2003 20:37 GMT5
I know you can pick the area code and exchange, but will they let you
pick various four-digit suffixes and see if they are available?
Will any of the providers do this?

Ft. Meyers Update23 Oct 2003 02:31 GMT4
I had the chance to drive I-75 from Naples to the Ft. Meyers airport
yesterday.  There was T-Mobile coverage the whole way.  There were 3 short
streaches (one just south of the Davis Blvd exit) where there was marginal
coverage, but 85% of the route was solid.  This is the same as ...

be called mMode? It uses GPRS. Now I see T-Mobile has a $2.99 ...

GPRS: T-Zones vs. other data22 Oct 2003 14:34 GMT12
So it looks like T-Mobile has recently decided to enforce some
differentiation between the $10/month and the $20/month unlimited data
plans.
Things that used to work, such as SSH and telnet, no longer work with
Toasted SIM?22 Oct 2003 07:31 GMT2
OK, it's my fault completely. I accidentally let my phone go through
the wash cycle by forgetting to remove it from my pants pocket.
The phone is completely gone (Nokia 3390). Completely non-responsive.
My question is, is the SIM likely to sustain damage? Replacing the
