I have unlimited t-zones for $10 a month.  I attempted to connect my
laptop through the infrared port on the phone to the internet and it
worked.  The customer service rep said it shouldn't work and didn't
seem to believe me.

GPRS in Boston: is anyone having success?09 Oct 2003 23:47 GMT1
GPRS, at least from my phone, seems to have been down for about a week
in the Boston area. I can't connect to anything despite good reception.
Anyone having any luck?  Anyone have any word from T-Mo when service
will be restored?
New Tower09 Oct 2003 16:25 GMT10
Is there anyone (other than Cust Service) I can talk to at T-Mobil about
when a newly erected tower will become operational?  The work at the tower
site has been complete for months now but I can't really detect an increase
in signal strength in my home vicinity.

I've been a Bell Atlantic / Verizon cell user for 10 years now, but I'm
ticked that they don't offer a bluetooth phone and international roaming is
like not possible. So I'm planning on packing two cell phones (because I
still really like the coverage of Verizon and don't want to ...

Grrrr....deposit STILL not coming back.08 Oct 2003 15:34 GMT14
Once again, I'm a little honked off at T-Mobile.
I signed up in May of 2001 with Voicestream. Due to some credit
problems, I had to put down a $500 deposit to open the account. I was
told I would get it back after 6 months, as long as my payment was up

After many hours of research and trial and error, I have been able to
get my T616 (unlocked and on T-mobile network) and my IPAQ 2215 to
connect.  The following settings on T616 and IPAQ 2215 allows a T616
to be used as data modem using the GPRS network rather than local ISP
