bluetooth phone that can use while charging?23 Dec 2003 03:16 GMT2
I've had some phones that can be used while charging and some that
can't. Are the T610, 6560, or T62u usable (Data OR Voice) while on the
charger? My Nokia with ATT is usable. My 4900 with Sprint is too, BUT
my 6400 (Same manufacturer as the 4900) isn't.

Roaming with Tmo22 Dec 2003 12:12 GMT4
I am thinking of switching to Tm,o the Amazon deals are tempting. But Without
850 mhz on the T610 does that remove  a lot of roaming capabilities with
Cingular (who I beleive they share with). Also is roaming on Cingular really
free.

Also, does anyone know if leaving the phone on with no signal
GSM vs SIM vs other carriers21 Dec 2003 10:51 GMT3
Is T-mobile the only USA carrier to be using GSM and SIM cards ?
If you move from T-mobile to another carrier,
is the phone still carrier-locked to T-mobile....requiring a new phone -
and would the SIM card work in other GSM carrier phones - if they exist -
Sierra Aircard 750 : Mac Driver?21 Dec 2003 04:17 GMT6
I just purchased a Sierra Aircard 750 from TMobile with the unlimited
data plan.  For $30 per month, it's a hard price/performance combination
to beat.
Unfortunately, one of my main uses will be on a macintosh running Mac OS

from Cingular is unlocked and can be use with T-Mobile or any other GSM

I had to unlock my T68i from T-Mobile to enjoy using it around the world

Question:
Can T616 (AT&T, supposedly unlocked) be used for t-zones, WAP, etc?19 Dec 2003 18:54 GMT2
I am not very experienced with all of this, but I am fairly technical. I
just bought a t616 which allows me to make calls, but I cannot seem to
use any "additional features" (i.e., email, browsing, etc)..The AT&T
mLife screen still comes up...I had T-Mobile tech send me new settings ...
