Changing number - technical question05 Dec 2003 02:14 GMT3
I recently bought a phone from amazon.com. They send me an e-mail today
stating that my number is 347 XXX XXXX. My question is : If I change the
number when I get the phone(becouse I can - right ?) what my Nokia will say
when I choose "My Own Number" ?
T-Mobile Phones04 Dec 2003 23:04 GMT9
Is there a big difference in range between different T-Mobile phones?  I
tried out a SonyEricsson T610 and it was horrible.  I don't think I saw a
full-strength signal the entire time I had the phone.  I really want a phone
with bluetooth and I prefer small, but it also needs to ...
Treo 270 good with T-Mobile net?04 Dec 2003 21:06 GMT6
I'm finally giving up on the SideKick through T-Mobile after thirteen months
of rebate and broken-phone agony, and considering the Handspring Treo 270
being offered by them as a replacement.

T-Mobile HATES Prepaid04 Dec 2003 10:57 GMT6
Why does T-Mobile hate Prepaid???   They have little to no web support,
you can't buy minutes on the web or by phone,  you have to buy them in the
store.     I think they're loosing money on Prepaid so they don't actively
support it.    A regular T-Mobile account costs $50/mo.  vs.  ...
T-Mobile weather alert (Chicago) is one day off04 Dec 2003 04:22 GMT5
For several weeks now, I've been noticing the inaccuracy of the weather
alert I get sent to my handset every morning.  Well, after yesterday's high
temperature was almost 40 degrees warmer than today's (welcome to winter,
Chicagoans!), it was pretty obvious to see that the forecast ...

Never Have Cell Phone Battery Problems Again03 Dec 2003 17:37 GMT1
Too many times your cell phone battery has left you hanging high and dry, and no fast solution. Most times you have to wait until you can get it on the charger, and let it charge up before you have use of it again.
Ever been on a very important call, and it died on you? It's hard ...
MPx200 Unlock Provider?03 Dec 2003 17:31 GMT5
Am strongly considering getting a Motorola MPx200 (on the cheapest plan
possible from ATTWS) but would prefer to keep my T-Mo service as primary
provider and yet use the MPx200.  I know GSM phones can be "unlocked" to
allow this.

I'm looking into hooking up Mac laptops to t-mobile. Willing to purchase
new phones, etc, if needed.
Anyone here manage to set up bluetooth connections and willing to share a
couple of experiences? Thanks muchly in advance.
Trip from US to UK, T-mobile impressions03 Dec 2003 14:04 GMT14
I just returned from a week in UK. I bought a t-mobile phone (t610) last
month for  three reasons, bluetooth, reasonable internet charges, and
cheapest roaming rates for UK (99 cents). I did have to specifically
request to have international roaming added to my account when I ...
Treo 600 SIM Card03 Dec 2003 04:40 GMT7
Guy at T-Mobile told me I could take the sim card out of my existing
cell phone (Nokia 3390?) and put it a Treo 600 and it would work fine.
Are the two compatible?
How has the grand GPRS / T-Zones Outage Inconvenienced you this holiday weekend?02 Dec 2003 03:24 GMT4
Well for me ... Could not check email after returning to coverage area after being out of service area for 2 days ... this was critical.  I had some key messages I was expecting.
Could not check status of eBay auctions.  I lost an auction for a pretty expensive item due to this!!  ...

Will the T-Mobile version of Treo 600 be limited to only Tri-band?
TIA
