Deleting the GPRS Upgrade12 Mar 2004 10:29 GMT1
My Treo 180 was just delivered by Tmobile with the GPRS upgrade installed.
I want to UNINSTALL the GPRS upgrade.  I have an older Treo180 that does NOT
have the GPRS upgrade.  Now, I want to take the newer phone and UNINSTALL
the GPRS upgrade.
Pleasantly surprised by T-Mobile11 Mar 2004 17:37 GMT5
I've been a 2+ year family ($69.99) customer with T-Mobile.  We've
rarely used more than 300 minutes out of our pool of 800.  Today on TV
I saw that there's a new $49.99 family plan and decided to ring up
customer service.

wap vs internet access on a pocketpc11 Mar 2004 12:51 GMT3
What I want to do is have a pocketpc ability to browse without using the
pocketpc as a phone (bluetooth or IR to my phone).  I am willing to pay the
19.99 to add the full internet to my service plan but will that work with
using my phone as a modem?
TMOBILE/Amazon Am I being Lied to?/11 Mar 2004 05:12 GMT29
About 2 months ago I wanted to upgrade my phone and spoke to the tmobile upgrade
department. They did not have any deals for their existing customers that were
competative to what I could get on amazon.com. I read the amazon.com rebate and
it said that existing customers could ...

sprint vision style mini-browsers?10 Mar 2004 07:06 GMT1
do any t-mobile phones support a sprint vision style minibrowser?
i've seen demos of the text-based wap1.0 browsers and those are
not particularly exciting.  the vision minibrowser can go to
arbitrary web sites with regular html and is a bit more pc web
Wow, this is the worst customer service I've ever encountered (long)10 Mar 2004 04:35 GMT19
I have to pass my story on to the utter complete and useless customer
service I have had from T-Mobile in the past couple of weeks.  I
suppose part of it is my fault for actually believing the T-Mobile
local reps, and the reps on the phone, but that's supposed to be their
Deals for existing customers?10 Mar 2004 04:28 GMT9
It seems that T-Mobile never offers deals on phones for their existing
customers.  I've been a customer of them since 2000 and would like a new
phone.  Are the phones and rebates that they sell on the site available to
existing customers or just new customers who activate an ...
ARGENTINA08 Mar 2004 22:36 GMT1
Going to Buenos Aires (also may have a brief stop in Iguazu and in Colonia
Uraguay) later this month.  Can someone tell me whether you have had success
with coverage with a T-Mobile triband phone?  Seems from the t-mobile
website that they do have a roaming arrangement in Argentina, ...

any more GSM800 phones?08 Mar 2004 12:48 GMT13
It seems the Nokia 3595 is the only phone T-Mobile (USA) sells that
works on GSM800 (850).  Do you know of plans for more?  If not, any
suggestions for an unlocked phone for 800/1900?  Thanks.

Motorola phone book recognition06 Mar 2004 18:13 GMT1
For some reason my network switch sometimes adds a +1(areacode) prefix
on incoming calls and always on incoming text.  Because of this the
phone doesn't match the caller with the entry in my phone book and
display the name, since it seems to be trying to match the entire
What's that?05 Mar 2004 18:32 GMT4
Guys,
I have a white Voicestream SIM card lying around
here. The back is blue/green and it has a long
