Does anyone know how to enable a Net Monitor mode on U.S. spec 1900 band GSM
phones, and which phones would let you do it?  Net Monitor or Net Watch mode
is that when the user sees the base station numbers, channels and signal
strength on the phone's screen.

Have people been successful in getting the amazon.com prices when

I just got a replacement phone, My first had a stuck display pixel.
I noticed that both phones show scan lines using the camera or video
recorder feature when pointed the camera a darker scenes. I also noticed
that many camera pixels don't work great anymore on darker scenes.

For the last few hours, my Samsung R225 has been "Searching..."  I've
driven around with it, but even when signal strength is indicated as a
full six bars, the phone doesn't lock on to it.  What could be causing
this?

Just a few minutes ago I tried to access a WAP site I go to often, and
instead of what I was expecting I got: "Sign up for unlimited internet
browsing, email, news, personalized information and online games for $4.99

On my latest bill, I found a $9.90 charge for a bunch of MegaTones and
wallpapers that I never downloaded.  I called Customer Care, and they told
me that "as a courtesy" they will credit my account this time, but I will be
liable for any such charges in the future.

With the Worldclass rates, how much does T-mobile charge for  (1) ringing
your phone without answering (Voicemail disabled),  (2) the caller to leave
a voice message (Voicemail enabled)   while overseas?

Is there data compression software available on Windows to reduce the number
of bytes transferred over T-mobile GPRS when surfing web (http)?

I have a new V300 and on most web sites I enter a error message comes back
stating "error 413 requested entity is too large". Some sites like Google
and text sites are OK. I use the phone to access  Internet direct no laptop
or PDA.
