Coverage?22 Aug 2006 19:54 GMT10
Can anybody indicate whether T-Mobile's coverage [including roaming] is as
good as Cingular's coverage?  I understand that where both native Cingular and
native T-Mobile exist, there may be holes where Native T-Mobile doesn't quite
cover, and of course vice versus.  BUT .. when ...
Prepaid and tetherned Internet?22 Aug 2006 02:42 GMT2
If I have a PDA w/BT, a BT GSM phone, and TM prepaid, does their prepaid
service permit me to use the Internet via my PDA?   It is not clear from
their web site.
Thanks.
TM and Cell Internet?17 Aug 2006 22:26 GMT9
Verizon Wireless offers "backdoor" Internet access, and provides the
ability to dial any ISP for Internet access.
If I were to switch to TMobile and get regular handsets (non
PDA/Smartphones) what are TMobile's Internet options (other than their
SDA 128-bit WEP?09 Aug 2006 14:44 GMT1
I read some posts stating that SDA cannot use 128-bit WEP hex key? Is
that true?
I am using 128-bit WEP Wi-fi at home, and I am thinking of buying a SDA.
Can anyone clarify this?
T-Mobile coverage in central NJ and 850 MHz roaming08 Aug 2006 03:39 GMT4
I am considering T-Mobile for use in my home area in Central NJ.
According to the coverage map, I have very low T-Mobile signal in my
area.  I know that Cingular has excellent 850 MHz coverage in my area.
As I understand it, I can roam on Cingular as a T-Mobile subscriber.
T-Mobile corporate stores & display phones06 Aug 2006 03:45 GMT1
Anyone notice how T-Mobile corporate stores don't keep their display phones
working and in good repair? Went to the only T-Mobile company store in a
large town today. The store consists of a tiny building about the size of a
tractor trailer sitting in the parking lot of a strip ...
International Roaming - Disabling Voice Calls05 Aug 2006 01:58 GMT4
I am planning to visit the British Virgin Islands in a few weeks.  The
T-Mobile roaming rate is $2.99/min.  On the other hand incoming SMS messages
are a reasonable $0.10 each.
I would like to be able to leave my phone on so I can get SMS messages, but
Roaming in the British Virgin Islands05 Aug 2006 01:55 GMT2
What is the situation with roaming in the BVIs for T-Mobile users?  Any
suggestions for economical alternatives?
Thanks,
3G in the US?04 Aug 2006 02:06 GMT2
I have heard rumors that t-mobile will be deploying a 3G data service
in the US in the next few months.  Are there any press reports or other
to confirm this?
Also, how will the speeds of such a network compare to t-mobile's
Samsung T80903 Aug 2006 17:22 GMT1
Hi, I bought the Samsung T809 and so far so good. One problem is the
batter gets used up pretty quickly.  I am wondering if it's OK to
charge the battery is it's only half empty or should I wait until it's
about ready to die and then charge it?
GPRS and EDGE available?02 Aug 2006 22:13 GMT2
I have a new V360 on T-Mobile with the T-Zones (Web & Email $6) service.
The V360 is EDGE capable.  Should I expect to see some indication of
having that service on the phone?  I can see the 'packet' icon coming
and going while in browser, but is there something else to show ...
