Mot V195s or Nokia 6133?29 May 2007 03:39 GMT1
I'm going to cancel my Verizon Wireless service in the next week or so and
go with T-Mobile.   I've narrowed the phone search to either the Motorola
v195s or Nokia 6133.  Both have reportedly excellent reception and both
are quad-band.   The only feature separating the two is a ...

wondering if it will work there.

Blackberry vs PDA/Smartphone Internet plans?23 May 2007 17:15 GMT1
TM offers a $20/month add-on Internet plan for its Blackberries, and a
$30/month add-on Internet plan for its other PDA/Smartphone devices.
I've emailed their support people asking the difference, and would be
curious what people's experiences here can tell me of the difference(s) ...
BT WAP?16 May 2007 01:53 GMT1
What restrictions does TM's $6/month web service impose?   I'm just
looking for basic web browsing - visiting weather radar web pages and
likely google maps with my bluetooth GPS.
I may opt for a GSM capable PDA.

What providers don't use GSM15 May 2007 16:05 GMT3
I live in a GSM dead spot (1-2 bars in summer), and the issue exists
with both T-Mobile and Cingular.  Does anyone know of another company
that doesn't use it?
T-Mo keeps wanting me to troubleshoot the phone itself, When I tell
Plan for voice+data?14 May 2007 04:27 GMT1
I was just reviewing TM's US rate plans.  Does their Internet service at
$6/month permit me to use:
- a GSM-enabled pda to perform whatever Internet activity I want?
- a plain ol' bluetooth-enabled GSM phone bonded with a bluetooth-enabled
Time and date update14 May 2007 00:21 GMT11
My time and date doesn't update unless I'm passed from one tower to the
next it seems.  I have an MDA and when I remove the battery or do a
reinstall of the OS it reverts back to Jun 7, 06 and it doesn't change
until I change it manually or I'm traveling and get passed to a
Storing overseas numbers in Phone Directory10 May 2007 19:32 GMT2
I am having a problem storing the + (plus sign) prefix that T-Mo
requires before the country code of foreign phone numbers. The Motorola
V330 phone just won't let me enter a + sign with a phone number. Is
there some trick to accomplish it?
What do SDA and MDA stand for?10 May 2007 15:24 GMT16
I've looked most everywhere but I cannot find a definition of "SDA" or
"MDA"?
What do they stand for and where did the initials come from (possibly
answered in what they stand for...)
T-Mobile and Mobile to Mobile10 May 2007 03:32 GMT3
I have heard conflicting reports about T-Mobile's mobile-to-mobile plan. I
was told when I signed up with T-Mobile that calls to other T-Mobile
customers are free and there is no plan to sign up for.
Several friends with T-Mobile have stated that it's a separate package you
